FAIS Ombud Graduate Programme

The Office of the Ombud Financial Services Providers seeks to appoint graduate trainees as part of their 18-month Case Management and Adjudication graduate recruitment program.   The successful candidate will be working in a target-driven environment on complaints received by the public against financial service providers and helping come to resolutions in a procedurally fair, informal, economic, and expeditious manner.   Ideal candidates are required to have the following skills and abilities:  
  • LLB degree
  • Practical Legal Training will be an advantage
  • Passion for public service
  • Interest in financial services
  • Strong academic background
  • Good drafting and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function in a stressful environment
  • Willing to work extra hours
  • Ability to extract real issues from a complaint
  • Computer literate
  • Energetic and self-driven
  • Results / Out / Deadline driven
