Key responsibilities include the following: · In consultation with the Head of Academic Quality Assurance and other relevant stakeholders review, implement and maintain the School accreditation policies and processes to ensure best practice is maintained. · Manage the updates for all the Schools reviews and plans, including but not limited to School reviews and accreditations, Faculty Reviews, WBS strategic documents and the various Self-Review processes. · Collate information to enable key performance indicator reporting for operational and strategic plans, and accreditation agency guidelines and feedback. · Work with the Head of Academic Quality Assurance and other relevant stakeholders on the preparation of program accreditations and evaluations. · Understand audit and accreditation processes, history, patterns and direction and ensure that the School complies with all relevant accreditation and audit requirements. · Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of quality assurance and continuous improvement as they apply at WBS. · Stay abreast of accreditation and quality assurance principles and practices. · Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the School Strategic Plan, university policy and WBS quality assurance processes and initiatives. · Set up and maintain quality assurance systems, processes and policies. · Work closely with all departments within WBS to ensure the School processes are aligned and systems are optimally used. · Implement and maintain dashboard and pipeline data processes for monthly and quarterly reports. · Manage the effective use and continued phased improvement of the University and School systems as these relate specifically to recruitment, selection, enrolments, registration and other support services that interact with academic programmes. Minimum academic requirements and experience: · Masters qualification in a relevant discipline · 6-8 Years of work experience, which should be related to accreditation processes. Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: · Expert understanding of quality assurance, accreditation and evaluation principles and their practical application in a tertiary or similar environment with experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of robust processes. · Advanced computer literacy skills specifically in the Microsoft Suite. · Proven ability to take initiative for planning and supervising projects and work independently, manage multiple tasks concurrently, apply continuous improvement principles, and meet deadlines without compromising standards of service and quality. · Management and analysis of data. · Formal project management experience. · Excellent attention to detail. · Strong communication skills including report writing, presentations, facilitation of group sessions and workshops. · Strong leadership and coordination skills to elicit buy-in and participation, and manage engagement and contribution. · Demonstrated commitment to excellence and service delivery.
