Job Description

Requirements: Substantial progress towards a PhD for Associate lecturer or a PhD for lecturer. Teaching and research interests that are commensurate within the field of Audiology; registration with the HPCSA. Demonstration of experience in academic administration would be to the candidate’s advantage. Experience in teaching and/or clinical supervision would also be an advantage. This will be a permanent post subject to a three year probationary period. Responsibilities: These will include: (a) lecturing undergraduate courses in Audiology; (b) clinical supervision of students in the under-graduate programme; (c) research supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and (d) administrative duties in the Department, School and Faculty (e) willingness to pursue active research and research publications.
