SALARY: Grade 1: R745 785 – R819 921 per annum
Grade 2: R918 630 – R1 018 047 per annum

REQUIREMENTS
Matric, Post graduate that allows registration with the HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist in a relevant registration category. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist in any of the identified categories. Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of South African qualified employees who performed Community Service, as required in South Africa. One-year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 2.
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of South African qualified employees who performed Community Service, as required in South Africa. Minimum of 11 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform. Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of South African qualified employees who performed Community Service, as required in South Africa.
Minimum of 21 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Knowledge and Skills: Research as well as intersectoral collaboration and team work. Counselling analytical and computer) skills. Ability to work under pressure, independently and in a team. DUTIES
- Conduct outreach services to the respective clinics in the district. Provide counselling services and psychoeducation to the clients visiting the CHC.
- Conduct psychosocial groups, Screen clients and treat all eligible client with Mental Health problems.
- Conduct training of health professionals/workers on mental health care aspects; outreach services to the clinics in the respective district.
- Strengthen referral of clients with mental health disorders.
- Manage 48 clinical records. Supervise Registered counsellors and indirectly Clinical Psychologists interns.
