  • Offered Salary R744 255 per annum, (all-inclusive remuneration package). The package includes a basic salary (70% of package), State’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund (13% of basic salary) and a flexible portion of 30% that may be structured in terms of applicable rules. The successful candidate will be required to enter into a performance agreement within three months after assumption of duty.

The competency will be testing generic managerial competencies using the mandated DPSA SMS competency assessment tools. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of Government (NSG) is required for all SMS applications. Applicants are advised that the old Z83 which was valid until 31 December 2020 will not be accepted. Job Description

REQUIREMENTS : Ideal Candidate Profile National Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Public Administration/ Forensic Investigation/ Law/ Commerce/ Ethics Management. 3-5 Years’ experience in a supervisory/Assistant Director level in the field of management of conflict interests. Understanding of Public Service Regulatory Framework, Legislations, National Anti-Corruption Strategy and forensic investigation. Understanding of government programmes and priorities. Proven administrative and organisational skills. Proven research, forensic investigation and analytical skills. Report writing skills. Project management skills. Presentation skills. Good communication skills. Interpersonal Skills. An understanding of the Constitutional Values and Principles (CVPs) in Section 195 and how these CVPs contribute towards effective public service delivery. An understanding of how this post supports the role of the Public Service Commission (PSC) regarding the CVPs. Must have a valid driver’s license (with exception of disabled applicants). DUTIES : Monitor that departments comply with the requirement to submit financial disclosure forms timeously by liaising with Ethics Officers. Validate the accuracy of statistics with the departments on the financial disclosure forms received and outstanding. Provide statistics to the Commission on the submission of the financial Disclosure Forms for quarterly reporting. Monitor and evaluate trends with regard to the submission of the financial disclosure forms. Conduct verification of financial disclosures with a view of identify the prevalence of conflicts of interests. Production of a report on the Overview Report on the implementation of the Financial Disclosure Framework. Manage the sub-directorate and provide support to the organisation
