All shortlisted candidates for Senior Management Service (SMS) posts will be subjected to a technical competency exercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics of which be communicated by the Department. Following the interview and technical exercise, the selection committee will recommend candidates to attend generic managerial competencies using the mandated Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) SMS competency assessment tools. REQUIREMENTS: Matric certificate and an undergraduate qualification in Law, Administration or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 7 as recognized by SAQA. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at middle/senior management level. A valid driver’s licence. Legal experience or experience in a court environment will be an added advantage. Knowledge of court processes and legal documentations. Knowledge of all relevant government prescripts, including Treasury regulations and instructions. DUTIES: Manage the development of policy, interventions and programmes to support the case flow management system. Facilitate the provision of frameworks, guidelines and policies to enhance Judicial Case Flow Management. Manage the collection of Case Flow Management information and statistics. Develop, manage, and maintain Case Flow Management tools/systems. Provide support to the case flow management forums/structures facilitated by the Lower Court Judiciary. Develop an integrated Case Flow Management National Database. Coordination of Library Services and facilitate the development of library management systems. Manage the Law Reporting Project. Manage utilization of resources in the Directorate.
