Job Description

Qualifications: ? Master’s degree in Afrikaans studies covering both Language and Literature in Afrikaans ? PhD in Afrikaans studies will be an added advantage Experience: ? A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in lecturing at an institution of higher learning. ? Experience in postgraduate supervision will be an added advantage Key Performance Areas: ? Teaching and Learning in a blended learning environment ? Academic student development ? Administration ? Curriculum development and accreditation ? Community engagement ? Personal / professional development ? Research and publishing in accredited journals ? Supervise postgraduate students and perform administrative duties related to research activities Skills and Competencies Required: ? Good communication skills ? Ability to work in a team ? Well-developed computer skills. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Good interpersonal and conflict management skills. ? Leadership and teamwork skills. ? Good administrative skills.
