Duties and responsibilities: Conduct teaching and learning as commensurate with the requirements of the lecturer position. Conduct research and supervision and publish articles as commensurate with the requirements of the lecturer position. Administer teaching, learning, and research as commensurate with the requirements of the lecturer position. Participate in engaged scholarship, administration and leadership initiatives commensurate with the requirements of the lecturer position Inherent requirements: Lecturer A Masters degree on NQF level 9 with specialisation in Corporate Communication, Marketing, Leadership or Organisational Communication. Proven experience in the delivery of poster or oral presentations at conferences or equivalent activities in the areas of Corporate Communication, Marketing, Leadership or Organisational Communication. Provide evidence of manuscripts produced that have the potential to be converted or submitted for publication in accredited journals. An excellent academic record (Please attach your academic record). Recommendations: Doctoral degree, with specialisation in corporate, marketing, leadership or organisational communication. Willing to enroll for a doctoral degree at the first available opportunity, if not yet attained by the time of the appointment. Emerging publication record in accredited journals in the areas of corporate, marketing, leadership or organisational communication. Ability to supervise Honours and Masters students to completion. Experience of student research supervision at any level. Ability to conduct/manage/publish interdisciplinary research. Ability to teach in an interdisciplinary context. Experience in undergraduate teaching. Member of a national or international scholarly society, association or committee in communication, media or related field Experience in teaching with electronic content management tools such as Blackboard.
