Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Qualification(s) – Bachelor’s Degree or B Tech or National Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering. Related Experience – Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years related experience in Construction Project Management or Engineering Or B-Tech in Construction Management or Engineering plus 6 years related experience in Construction Project Management or Engineering Or National Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering plus 9 years related experience in Construction Project Management or Engineering. Professional Registration Body – Registered with the South African Council of Project Construction Management Professionals (SACPCMP) as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr.CPM). Added Advantage – National Diploma in Project Management. Skills and Competencies: Behavioural – Integrity. Trustworthiness. Professionalism. Building and developing teams. Creativity. Client focus. Delegation of authority and responsibility. Developig organisational talent. Teamwork / collaboration. Negotiation / persuasiveness. Planning and organizing. Key Responsibilities – Manage the provision of the department’s construction project management standard services throughout the project life cycle. Implement and manage the construction and project execution plan. Management of Project’s support and maintenance services. Manage and report on the construction and project management risks. Manage the team performance, development of skills, knowledge and capabilities. Lead and report on contractor integration activities within the scope. Manage compliance with all Eskom and site related governance and safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements.
