Minimum Requirements : BSc Eng/ B Eng / B Tech / National Higher. Additional post graduate qualification will be an advantage. Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist. Experience – BSc Eng/ B Eng/B Tech plus 8 years’ experience. National Higher Diploma plus 10 years’ experience. Experience in Operational Technology systems, Engineering design, design integration and engineering management in power generation technologies for materials handling plant, low pressure services plant, boiler emission control, milling, draft group, burners, power plant processes, turbine centre line, pumps, gas turbines, high pressure equipment, feed heating and cooling, solar plants, wind energy plant, chemical plant and chemistry systems, electrical, C&I, and/or civil. Key Responsibilities – Provide direction and leadership for Transmission’s OT and Core systems Cyber Security area. Establish and maintain processes, standards, controls and governance requirements for security of Transmission OT and Core systems. Provide assurance to the integrity of the security of Transmission systems. Establish technical capacity to oversea the security of Transmission systems. Interrogate and Report on status of the security of Transmission systems. Keep abreast of technology developments, security incidents and best practices. Perform general functional management (financial, performance, resource, relationship and skills development).
