Job Description

REQUIREMENTS: National Senior Certificate, An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management. Computer Literacy. Introduction to Persal Certificate. Competencies: Knowledge of HR prescripts. Sound communication, problem solving and decision making skills. DUTIES: Supervise and undertake the more complex implementation and maintenance of human resource functions inclusive of: Implementation of Service Terminations: approval of termination of service from the Persal system, auditing of leave files for leave gratification, processing of expenditure approval and memo for payment of leave gratuity, check Z102 for claiming of pension benefits online. Approval/Processing of Service Benefits: Homeowners and housing allowances, resettlement benefits, state guarantees and housing stop orders. Leave Administration: Checking and approving captured application for leave of absence on Persal, supervise leave reconciliation, receive and process temporary incapacity leave applications. Approving of Nomination Beneficiary Form: Checking and approving form for nomination of beneficiary on Persal.
