Job description RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching of clinical modules such as Companion animal, Animal Production, pathology, organise and facilitate student’s production animal clinics, clinical practical Community service, veterinary clinic, Outreach. Advanced knowledge of animal production, veterinary pharmacology and toxicology, with proof publications in the areas. Supervision of postgraduate’s postgraduate students. Funds Funding applications. Generation of third stream income. Clinical services to the community. Administration. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Veterinarian with MSc is essential (companion and production animalanimal, veterinary pharmacology, toxicology). PhD will be an advantage (companion animal pharmacology, toxicology). Membership with SAVC is essential. 3-5 years Working experience in Veterinary environment area is essential. 3-5 years Supervision of postgraduates is essential. Proof of clinical teaching and practical, proof of supervision. Community service, veterinary clinic; outreach. Ability to work in a team. Leadership ability; Dynamic.
