Job Description

Responsibilities: Project Management, including developing protocols, report writing and working within timelines and budgets Knowledge translation, stakeholder management, networking and collaborating with local and international partners and stakeholders, including policymakers and contribution to national science system Capacity development and training, conducting short courses/seminars and providing mentorship and supervision to students related to the project Conference presentation, presenting research findings and reports at relevant conferences/meetings Scientific publications in ISI accredited journals Core Requirements: Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology or Public Health Registered for a PhD 2 years undergraduate training in health sciences related field (e.g. clinical medicine, health sciences) 1- 2 years’ experience in research project management working according to timelines and within budgets 1-2 years’ experience in networking and collaborating with local and international partners and stakeholders, including policymakers Developed proposals and published scientific articles in relevant national/international peer-reviewed journals Presented research findings and reports at relevant conferences/meetings Experience in training and developing capacity, including conducting short courses/seminars and providing mentorship and supervision to students Experience in applying the principles of evidence-based healthcare and knowledge translation Advantageous: Competency in conducting and publishing systematic reviews Registration with a relevant clinical association (e.g. pharmacy, nursing, allied health, medicine etc). Experience with communication of research through social media networks is advantageous
