TRAINEESHIP

The South African Police Service (SAPS) is recruiting entry level Police Trainee and invites unemployed youth to apply for a 21 months’ Traineeship. Salary: R4500 per month (Institution Phase) / R186 483 (Probation Phase) with benefits that consist of training gear, meals and accommodation.

The closing date for the application is on 30 June 2022. Only the shortlisted candidates will get notifications of their acceptance.
Note – Once the SAPS Online Application Portal is closed, new applications will not be submitted. So if you need to apply for the SAPS Traineeship Programme this year, you should apply now before the Application Closing Date.

If you don’t get any notifications within 3 months after the closing date then your application is unsuccessful. We wish you good luck for your application to SAPS Traineeship 2022!

ABOUT SAPS CAREERS
The SAPS offers careers in various fields. If you join the SAPS you can either become a police official or a civilian employee. Police officials are employed in terms of the South African Police Service Act, 1995 (Act No 68 of 1995). Civilian employees are employed in terms of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Act No 103 of 1994). Most functional Police Officials are directly involved in preventing, combating or investigating crime. The other Police officials and civilian personnel carry out support functions.
