Requirements:

The Department of Defence is inviting applications for the position of Personnel Official: Production (Honours and Awards) with Ref No: DHRMAINT/30/27/23. Duties and Responsibilities: The Personnel Official in this role will undertake the following key responsibilities:
- Obtain approvals for awards of Clasp/Bars, Decorations, Long and Loyal Service Medals, and PSAP Long and Loyal Service Certificates.
- Maintain an organised record-filing system and register applications for Unitas Medals, Public Service Act Personnel (Long Service Awards).
- Update the Central Awards Register (CAR) and mainframe PERSOL system.
- Handle default applications by referring them back to Units and Divisions.
- Prepare concept General Orders for review by Chief Personnel Clerk, Staff Officer Two, Honours and Awards, and draft covering letters for distribution to Units and Divisions.
