AgriSETA Internships Purpose

Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Monitor projects: Ensure that all projects are progressing as planned and meeting their objectives.
- Evaluate performance information: Analyze data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of projects.
- Collect data: Gather relevant information through various methods, including administering questionnaires.
Management of Data
- Collate, capture, and store data: Organize and maintain all research tools and data collected.
- Compile research-related data: Prepare data sets and reports as requested.
- Basic data analysis: Perform initial analysis of collected data to identify trends and insights.
Stakeholder Liaison
- Maintain stakeholder relations: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Administration
- Organize project site visits: Coordinate visits for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
- Assist with administrative tasks: Support the division with various administrative duties.
- Manage records and tracking: Keep track of all research-related activities and generate regular reports.

Requirements
- Educational Qualification: NQF Level 6 / Diploma / Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the audit environment and basic statistics.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Willingness to Travel: Be prepared to travel as required by the job.
Competencies
- Project management skills: Ability to manage and oversee various projects effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
