    Requirements:

    • Education:
      • Matric Certificate
      • National Diploma in Office Administration and Technology, Administration, Public Management, or a related qualification at NQF Level 6 (SAQA-recognized)

    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role
      • Experience in a regulatory environment is a plus
    • License: Valid driver’s license

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines related to the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965
    • Strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills for data analysis and interpretation
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Effective under pressure with strong communication skills (verbal, written, conflict management)
    • Good planning, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office
    • Proactive and service-oriented with a focus on performance-based management
    • Adherence to ethical standards and Code of Conduct

    Duties:

    • Maintain activity trackers for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and the Pharmacovigilance Advisory Committee (PVC)
    • Prepare agendas and documents for meetings, including Committees, sub-committees, working groups, and other stakeholders
    • Draft and communicate recommendation letters to certificate holders, applicants, and PV stakeholders
    • Update audit folders with relevant documentation
    • Assist with administrative tasks related to PV stakeholder travels and trainings
    • Travel with the PV training team as required
