Key Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Matric qualification (minimum).
- At least two years of relevant working experience.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans (written and verbal).
- Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Outstanding computer literacy and communication abilities.
- Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Marketing and communication knowledge and experience.
Recommendations (Advantageous):
- A post-matric qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications.
- Experience in the education sector or student recruitment.
- Photography and videography skills.
- Knowledge of the TVET sector.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Student Recruiter, you will play a vital role in promoting Boland TVET College’s programs and opportunities. Your primary duties will include:
- Student Recruitment:
- Planning and executing student recruitment activities.
- Conducting school visits, career exhibitions, and community engagement events.
- Marketing Campaigns:
- Planning and implementing advertising, media, and registration campaigns.
- Organizing application days in local communities.
- Corporate Identity Management:
- Establishing and maintaining Boland TVET College’s internal and external corporate identity.
- Special Events:
- Executing and planning special marketing events.
- Community Engagement:
- Writing articles and serving as an effective liaison with the community.
- Following up with prospective students and fostering positive relationships.
This role may require after-hours work and frequent travel within the region.
