- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation
- Meals
Note: The bursary does not cover outstanding student debt.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the bursary:
- South African Citizenship: Applicants must hold South African citizenship.
- Education Background: Completion of Grade 12/Matric/NCV with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Field of Study: Intention to study or current enrollment in an approved degree program within the specified fields.
- Household Income: Total household income must not exceed R350,000 per annum (or R600,000 for those living with disabilities).
- Unemployment: Preference is given to unemployed youth.
- Disabilities: Applications from youth with disabilities are encouraged.
- Residency: Priority is given to applicants from the Eastern Cape, although students from other provinces are welcome to apply.
