    Project Manager: Investment Promotion at TIKZN

    • Job Title: Project Manager: Investment Promotion
    • Location: KwaZulu-Natal
    • Duration: Permanent

    Key Responsibilities: The Project Manager will play a key role in attracting domestic and foreign investments to the province. This will be done through the promotion and facilitation of investment opportunities in key provincial sectors such as agriculture, ICT, and manufacturing. The role involves a combination of investment promotion, client enquiry management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related qualification is essential. An honours degree is a plus.
    • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management within the Investment Promotion and Facilitation environment.
    • A thorough knowledge of economic sectors, South African legislation, international trade, investment dynamics, and an understanding of incentives and grants is essential.

    This role requires someone with excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to build relationships with stakeholders at various levels. A keen understanding of work permits and company registration processes would be an added advantage.

    Company Secretary at TIKZN

    • Job Title: Company Secretary
    • Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
    • Duration: Permanent
    • Closing Date: 28 February 2025

    Key Responsibilities: The Company Secretary will provide crucial administrative and advisory support to the board to ensure that the organization complies with corporate governance, legal, and regulatory requirements. The responsibilities of this role include managing corporate governance, risk management, board secretariat functions, and office administration.

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • A Postgraduate Law Degree, LLB, or Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa (CIS) qualification is required. A Postgraduate qualification in Commerce is also beneficial.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate governance at a management level, including at least 3 years in Board secretariat and administration.
    • A solid understanding of public sector legislation, Companies Act, and King IV regulations is essential.
