Requirements

To qualify for this position, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Certifications: PERSAL Introduction and PERSAL Establishment Control courses.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in an HR information and systems administration or establishment control environment.

Required Knowledge and Skills

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in:

  • Establishment and HR Prescripts: Knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, Code of Conduct, the Constitution, and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
  • Departmental Policies: Familiarity with Treasury Regulations, PERSAL Policy, PFMA, and Batho Pele principles.
  • HR Systems and Admin: Proficient in administrative procedures, PERSAL, and establishment control.

Candidates should have excellent skills in communication, computer literacy, numeracy, training, analytical thinking, language proficiency, conflict management, coordination, planning, and time management. Independence and teamwork ability are critical, along with professionalism and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
