The filling of this post will be guided by the Department’s Employment Equity targets. Please note that requests for higher salaries will not be entertained for the advertised posts, however it may only be considered for posts falling within the Occupational Specific Dispensation (OSD) subject to the existing provisions. Please note that employment verifications shall be undertaken for all experience which has been recognized for shortlisting purposes, experience in the public service will need to be supported with a signed job description and PERSAL service record history and experience from the private sector needs to be supported by a certificate of service confirming the name of company, position held, periods of employment and duties performed. Experience that cannot be verified will result in the applicant being disqualified. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment.
