Requirements
- An NQF level 7 qualification in Speech Therapy and Audiology as recognised by SAQA.
- Valid and active registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Speech Therapist and Audiologist.
- Minimum of 3 years’ appropriate experience after Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in Speech Therapy and Audiology field.

Duties
- Render speech therapy and audiology services to all learners in need.
- Support Educators and support staff on implementation of SIAS policies.
- Facilitate Screening and assessment of learners for enrolment. transfer purposes.
- Compilation of medical reports for social grant.
- Sports and administrative purposes.
- Compilation of speech therapy monthly reports and statistics of all schools.
- Compilation of Speech therapy needs for all schools.
- Stakeholder engagement and participation for advocacy. e.g. disability forums.
- Facilitate Speech therapy and audiology Assistive devices procurement and management for all Schools.
- Support SIAS support structures, school-based support teams SBST.
- District-based support teams (DBST).

Notes and Z83 guidance
