- Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. If applicants have not been contacted within three (3) months after the closing date, they should consider their applications unsuccessful.
- The Department reserves the right not to make any appointment to the advertised posts. The 24-month Internship Programme is intended to provide graduates with practical workplace experience relevant to their qualifications.
- Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens who have not previously participated in an internship programme within any National or Provincial Government Department or State Institution.
- Failure to disclose previous participation in a government internship programme may result in the immediate termination of the internship contract.
- Applicants must submit proof of residence issued by the relevant Local Municipality or Traditional Authority.
