Requirements
- Grade 12/ Senior Certificate, Basic R425 qualification (i.e.
- Diploma / Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery) plus (1) year post-basic nursing qualification in Clinic Nursing Science Health Assessment, Treatment and Care (PHC).
- Current registration with SANC (2026) as General Nurse, Midwife/Accoucheur and Primary Health Care.
- A minimum of nine (09) years appropriate /recognisable nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing of which at least five (5) years must be appropriate/recognizable PHC experience after obtaining a one (1) year post basic qualification in PHC.
- In depth knowledge of nursing legislation, related legal and ethical nursing practices, public service policies and other Health related prescripts.
- Knowledge of quality norms and standards as directed by Negotiated Service Delivery Agreement, OHSC and ICRM prescripts, patient Right Charter and Batho Pele Principle.
- Leadership, organizing, decision – making, problem solving skills.
- Computer literacy to enhance service delivery.
- Time and conflict management skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Communication skills to enhance teamwork.
- Human Resource and Financial Management.
Duties
- Provision of comprehensive package of services at Primary health Care level.
- Develop, implement and monitor facility plans and submit progress reports.
- Implement quality improvement Programs that work towards achieving Universal Health Coverage as stipulated in the National Health Act.
- Effective utilization and monitoring of resources in line with cost containment plan.
- Effectively implement PHC Re-engineering strategy.
- Implement Employment Performance management and Development System.
- Manage and utilize date to improve service delivery and health outcomes.
- Implement and monitor Department projects, including special project in line with health calendar.
- Conduct clinical audits of priority programs with the aim to improve health care services.

CENTRE : Kwa-Magwaza District Hospital (Nogajuka Clinic)
