Requirements
- Standard 10 certificate/Grade 12.
- Clerical/administrative: 3-5 years in Patient Admin Degree / National Diploma in Public Management / Administration / Financial Management Plus three (3) years’ experiences in Patient Administration and A valid code EB driver’s licence Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, and Competencies Required: Knowledge of E-Health patient Registration and other patient admin computer programmes Knowledge of discipline and grievance procedures Knowledge of legislation policies and procedures pertaining to revenue and patient administration Computer literacy Supervisory / Managing abilities Finance and accounting skills.
Duties
- Supervise the Patient Administration section (Medical records, Archival, Mortuary, Casualty, Admission, Discharge, Appointments, Emergency bookings).
- Train, develop and monitor staff including conflict management and discipline Maintain effective and efficient utilization of resources.
- Conduct internal audit and risk management and maintain compliance.
- Ensure efficient work processes and reduce waiting time in the patient admin area.
- Compile and submit monthly reports on survey (waiting time, head count registers and archival of files.
- Ensure efficient records management and conduct regular records audits.
- Implement and monitor Performance Management within the Patient Admin sections.
- Implement quality improvement programmes by monitoring and evaluation.
- Ensure effective and efficient cash management of all state monies is collected.
