Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification);
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience;
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving license.

Duties
- Render administrative support services: Provide administrative support in respect of the budget;
- Coordinate the office administration functions- e.g. typing, filing, file tracking system, dealing with correspondence, telephone;
- Compile itinerary and submit trip approvals;
- Make subsistence and traveling arrangements and submit all claims (transport, daily allowance and travel allowances);
- Handle procurement, stores, budget control and give inputs on budget;
- Analyse the relevant Public Service and Departmental prescripts/policies and other documents and ensure that the applications thereof is understood properly;
- Communication and liaising: Liaise with various agricultural agents as well as the general public;
- Assist with the execution of the inter- and intra- governmental function;
- Liaise with other provincial departments and ministries as well with other government bodies on the three spheres e.g. national departments, provincial governments, ministries and local authorities;
- Review and direct internal and external correspondence /emails / invitations to the relevant stakeholders;
- Render personal support to the HOD;
- Managerial functions
