Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent, An appropriate Degree / National Diploma in Administration / Management or equivalent plus at least 3 years appropriate managerial experience in Systems Management and Unendorsed valid E.B driver’s license.
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Knowledge of and experience in General Administration, Patient Administration and Information Systems.
- Knowledge of relevant acts and regulations inclusive of Patient fees manual.
- Sound management, negotiation, inter-personal, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge of the Basic Accounting Systems (BAS).
- Understanding of Information Technology and IT system.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information in strictest confidence.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis.
Duties
- Monitor the provision of all hotel services and facilities by contractors in order to ensure contract adherence ensure compliance with service level agreement and highest level of quality.
- Manage and control support services namely: Information Technology, Cleaning services, Catering Services, Telecommunications, Registry and reprographic, Maintenance services, Gardening services, Mortuary services, Housekeeping, Security Services, Laundry services and Transport services.
- Ensure that all Hospital Information System (patient related and other) are maintained so as to provide reliable, valid timeous processing and information.
- Implement and monitor effective hospital policies, protocols, practices within the day to day operational areas.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations.
- Provide technical advice to management team in respect of operations.
- Ensure that standby and emergency facilities are properly maintained.
- Contribute as a member of multidisciplinary management team towards the effective management of the hospital.
- Ensure that an effective, up-to date disaster and major incident management plan is maintained.
- Analyse alternative for performing needed work including contracting out services and evaluate and recommends procedures / practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure that safety program requirement are adhered to by all staff.
