Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate Plus a 4-year degree/ NQF Level 8 or equivalent qualification in Natural Sciences/ Environmental Management/ Nature Conservation /Environmental Law and or related.
- No Experience as per OSD
Duties
- Provide specialised technical support for the development and implementation and coordination of integrated coastal management planning instruments and governance initiatives.
- Provide specialised technical support for the development, review and implementation of the appropriate coastal management policy, legislation, regulations and related regulatory instruments.
- Provide technical support with the implementation of coastal management related policies and regulations, monitor, evaluate and report on the impact of the coastal management policies and instruments.
- Provide technical support with the development and maintenance of an integrated coastal information management system.
- Perform and manage administrative and related functions.

REQUIREMENTS : A National Senior Certificate Plus a 4-year degree/ NQF Level 8 or equivalent qualification in Natural Sciences/ Environmental Management/ Nature
Conservation /Environmental Law and or related. No Experience as per OSD
requirements, however 1-2 years’ experience will be an added advantage A
valid driver’s licence is required. The following skills, Public Service Act, Public
Service Regulations, PFMA, Relevant Coastal Management Legislation and prescripts applicable to the Eastern Cape, Sea Shore Act, computer literacy
and skills; Good writing and communication skills.
