Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Senior certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Appropriate experience in Human Resource Management.
- Inherent requirement of the job: A valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel to institutions within the Western Cape.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Communication skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Advanced leadership and management skills.
Duties
- Supervision of staff.
- Process service exits/early retirements without penalisation/pension applications/enquiries.
- Provide advice and support to institutions, including development and training of own staff and HR staff within the Sub-structure.
- Manage leave administration/PILIR and incapacity matters.
- Administer applications for overseas trips, applications of foreign health workers, ORW’s normal and Commuted overtime.
- Administer approvals for payment of allowances, conditions of service for PHC employees and transfer of employees.
- Structure MMS Packages and implementation of appointments on PERSAL.
