Requirements

  • Standard 10 certificate/Grade 12.
  • Clerical/administrative: 3-5 years in Supply Chain Management.
  • Degree /National Diploma in SCM / Public Management / Financial Management Plus three (3) years’ experiences in Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, And Competencies Required: Clerical duties Capturing of data Computer literacy Legislative framework governing the Public Service, Working procedures in terms of the working environment Planning and organizing.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks Interpersonal relations, Flexibility, Teamwork.

Duties

  • Supervise and render asset management clerical services.
  • Oversee the compilation and maintenance of records (e.g., asset records/ databases).
  • Identify redundant, non-serviceable and obsolete equipment for disposal.
  • Oversee the verification of the asset register.
  • Supervise and render demand and acquisition clerical support.
  • Ensure that suppliers are captured and registered on the system.
  • Ensure that all orders are placed on time.
  • Provide secretariat or logistical support during the bid consideration and contracts conclusion process.
  • Supervise and undertake logistical support services.
  • Check, place and verify orders for goods.
  • Receive and verify goods from suppliers.
  • Supervise human resources/staff.
