Job Purpose
This position aims to support the administrative functions within the Directorate: Recruitment and Selection. The successful candidates will ensure efficient and accurate management of the recruitment process and provide high-quality service to various stakeholders involved.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).
Recommended Qualifications and Experience
While not required, the following qualifications and experience are highly recommended to succeed in this role:
- Education: An appropriate tertiary qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience within a Human Resources or Recruitment environment, especially in managing tasks within a digital recruitment system (e-recruitment).
- Licensing: A valid Code B (or higher) driving license is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities and Performance Areas
The Human Resource Clerk: Talent Sourcing will undertake several administrative duties, including:
- Liaison with Stakeholders: Establishing and maintaining productive communication with relevant stakeholders to facilitate the recruitment and selection process.
- General Office Administration: Performing various clerical duties to support office operations, including filing, record keeping, and other essential administrative tasks.
- Database Management: Organizing and maintaining a comprehensive and accurate recruitment database, keeping it up-to-date for quick access to relevant information.
- Financial Capture and Updates: Tracking and recording expenditure for the recruitment component as per department policies and procedures.
- Reception Duties: Handling reception duties, including welcoming candidates, answering queries, and providing general information related to recruitment activities.
