Department of Public Works Internships
The National Department of Public Works has various internship programs open for unemployed graduates who seek to gain workplace experience. Applicants may apply for the programme they qualify for based on their academic qualifications. All interns will be placed in Johannesburg for a period of 24-months, receiving an inclusive monthly stipend of R6 083.70.
The following internship programs are available:
- Security Management
- Finance
- Utilization and Contract Administration
- Work Management
- Horticulture
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Information Technology Support
- User Demand Management
Requirement
All graduates need to hold formal qualification, either a bachelor’s degree or national diploma in the respective fields.
Applications should be accompanied by a CV and the new Z83 form, signed and properly completed. Communication regarding certified documents will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only.
