The Department of Home Affairs looks to recruit young unemployed graduates for the project on digitization of the Department of Home Affairs Civic Paper Records. The Department of Home Affairs Intern Vacancies aim to convert inactive and active paper records through digitising hard copy records to electronic format, for easy handling and storage.
This opportunity is available to unemployed youth in South Africa. The duration of this contract will be a fixed term running from 1 November 2022 till 31 October 2025, 3 years. Successful candidates will be placed at the Gauteng and North West Department offices.
Successful candidates require the relevant qualifications from TVET, University of Technology or Universities.

OPPORTUNITY 1&2: RUNNER & PREPPER (320 Posts)
STIPEND: R5 000 per month
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Document and / or Records Management or Information Technology.
DUTIES
- Retrieval of files from shelves.
- Sort and list files.
- Prepare documents for scanning – unfolding, removing of staples & paper clips, sorting by document size, insertion of separator sheets.
- Sort files in batches.
- Numbering of files and documents.
OPPORTUNITY 3: RE-ASSEMBLER (200 Posts)
