Requirements

  • Minimum three (03) years'
  • National Diploma NQF Level 06 in Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development.
  • A minimum of two (02) years' experience in a Human Resources Management and Development environment.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Skills and Competencies: Computer literacy.
  • Good people management and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of PERSAL and the e-Leave management system.
  • Knowledge of Public Services Prescripts, Laws, and all other relevant Human Resource policies and prescripts.

Duties

  • Implement human resource provisioning, i.e. recruitment and selection, appointments, transfer, termination of service, verification of qualifications, probationary periods, etc.
  • Implement conditions of service and service benefits, i.e., leave management, housing, medical, injury on duty, long service recognition, overtime, relocation, pension, allowances, etc.
  • Capture, recommend, and approve transactions on the PERSAL system according to delegations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the performance management and development system.
  • Facilitate the implementation of human resource development.
  • Implement human resource plans, employment equity, and policy development.
  • Prepare reports on human resource matters and statistics.
