Requirements

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus an undergraduate relevant qualification (NQF Level 7) in Finance / Supply Chain Management / Purchasing / Management Accounting / Logistics / Public Administration / Public Management / Financial Management as recognised by SAQA.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience at supervisory / management level (ASD).
  • A valid driver’s licence.

Duties

Develop and implement demand management frameworks and strategies, Ensure the consolidation of the procurement requirements from programmes in line with the strategic plan of the department timeously, Ensure a consolidated procurement plan for goods and services with critical delivery dates and the approval thereof on time and submission to Provincial Treasury, Manage the implementation of Central Supplier Database; facilitation of bid specification committee meetings; review and manage policies, instruction notes and supply chain performance; monitor, analyse and implement SCM policies and National Treasury instruction notes, Review and implement sourcing strategy, Ensure sound governance and improved compliance with supply chain management reporting requirement.
