Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience: Appropriate People Management experience.
- Appropriate PERSAL experience and Recruitment and Selection.
- Inherent requirement of the job: Prepared to work overtime when required.
- Candidate must have a valid Driver’s License.
- The incumbent will be expected to support multiple campuses with HR processes, when operational needs dictate.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good interpersonal, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Duties
- Perform all administrative duties pertaining to the personnel administration section e.g. appointments, service terminations, transfers, pension administration, salary administration, leave, housing, injury on duty, debt management and verification of documents.
- Responsible for capturing transactions on PERSAL and audit personnel- and leave records.
- Handle all personnel enquiries and correspondence (written and verbal) and file personnel data, policies, regulations and circulars.
- Maintain registers, i.e.
- PILIR, RWOPS, appointment and service terminations.
- Recruitment and selection.
