Requirements
- A Senior Certificate/ National Certificate (Vocational) NQF level 4; plus a minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative environment.
- Knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act (Act No 93 of 1996) and its relevant regulations and all amended regulations.
- Knowledge of NATIS.
- Knowledge and the ability to apply the new Public Services Regulations Labour Relations Act.
- Knowledge on Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, Development Act, Public Service Act and Financial Management Act.
- Knowledge of Public Service reporting procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
- Computer skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Decision making skills.
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Motivation skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- The ideal candidate must be accurate, produce quality, be people orientated, be a team player, be reliable, honest, deliver punctuality and be self-motivated.
- He/she must have the ability to interpret and policy and have the ability to assess quality of services delivered.
Duties
- Provide training to NaTIS users throughout KwaZulu-Natal to ensure the integrity, accuracy and effective utilisation of the NaTIS.
- Provide administration, control, reconciliation of motor vehicle registration and licensing forms and face-value documents.
- Provide effective dissemination and implementation of road traffic legislation, policies, procedures and NaTIS updates.
- Provide relief support and perform auxiliary services.
- Supervise human resources/ staff.
