Requirements
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public/ Business Administration, Public/ Business Management/ Monitoring &
- Evaluation; plus, A minimum of 1 year experience in Monitoring &
- Evaluation/ Strategic Planning Environment; plus, A valid driver’s licence (Code B or higher).
- Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required: Knowledge of medium-term strategic framework.
- Knowledge of medium-term development plan.
- Department of Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) guidelines knowledge.
- Knowledge of National Policy Evaluation Framework.
- Knowledge of the constitution for the Republic of South Africa.
- Knowledge of Public Service Act.
- Knowledge of Government-Wide monitoring and evaluation system.
- Knowledge of Framework for strategic planning and annual performance plan.
- Knowledge of policy analysis and development.
- Knowledge of Public Service Regulation.
- Knowledge of Employee Performance Management and Development System.
- Knowledge of Labour Act and relevant regulations.
- Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act.
- Knowledge of Organizational Behaviour Analysis.
- Knowledge of Strategic business management.
- Research skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Analytical thinking skills.

Duties
- Conduct compliance as per approved business plan.
- Undertake monitoring and reporting on performance in relation to the departmental service deliverables.
- Examine compliance with standards and the relevance of such to the operations of the Department.
- Facilitate the Development of monitoring tools to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance and provide effective support services.
