PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION: NORTHERN CAPE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
SALARY: R497 193 per annum
CENTRE: Pixley Ka Seme District Office
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic R245 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse, Post basic/advanced nursing qualification, with duration of at least 1year accredited with the SANC, Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse A post qualification in the following specialities would serve as an added advantage: Advance Psychiatric Nursing Science. Experience: A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing.
DUTIES:
- Developing and implementing mental health programs and treatments, coordinating clinical services and providing support to staff and clients, increasing community mental health awareness and helping patients access resources, consulting with other medical and science professionals about patient cases and therapeutic care,
- Supervising personnel and identifying problems and solutions,
- Writing reports and documents and interpreting policies and procedures.
