EMERGENCY CARE OFFICER REF NO: NCDOH 44/2023 (X2 POSTS)
PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION: NORTHERN CAPE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
SALARY: R169 737 – R197 343 per annum
CENTRE: Emergency Medical Services, Port Nolloth (Namakwa District)
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 1: Successful completion of the Basic Ambulance Assistant course that allows registration with the HPCSA as Basic Ambulance Assistant. Registration with the HPCSA as Basic Ambulance Assistant. Grade 3: Successful completion of an appropriate Intermediate Life Support (ILS) course that allows registration with the HPCSA as Ambulance Emergency Assistant (AEA). Experience: Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as a Basic Ambulance Assistant.
DUTIES:
- Perform administrative functions associated with daily tasks.
- Effective pre-hospital emergency care service.
- Maintenance of emergency vehicle, equipment and Facility (Bases). EMS P1 urban responses under 15 minutes.
- EMS P1 rural responses under 40 minutes.
