    Requirements

    • Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’S) of the post.
    • Experience: Appropriate experience in financial and expenditure management.
    • Competencies (knowledge/skills): Sound Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Accounting Officer’s System of the Department of Health.
    • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Duties

    • Authorising of payments on the BAS and Logis systems.
    • Compliance Monitoring including adherence to policies and feedback to Internal Control Audit Findings.
    • Maintenance and Clearance of Asset and Liability Accounts.
    • Managing Revenue and Petty Cash Administration.
    • Compilation of Annual Financial Statements, In Year Monitoring (IYM), Leases and 30 Day Payment Reporting.
    • Human Resource Development and Management.
    • Support to Supervisor and Finance Component.
