Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.
- Experience: Appropriate experience in line with the duties (key result areas/outputs) of the post.
- Appropriate administrative duties within a healthcare environment.
- Inherent requirements of the job: Valid code B/EB driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel within the Northern Tygerberg district.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Working knowledge and experience of Asset Management and Supply Chain Management in the Public Service.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, computer skills in MS Office (i.e.
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the PFMA, Finance Instructions, Provincial and National Treasury regulations, Supply Chain Management Instructions as well as the Accounting Officer System and familiarity with LOGIS or Syspro.
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines, ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and ability to work in a team context and motivate team members.

- Asset Register maintenance.
- Management of the Asset verification and reconciliation process.
- Management of the disposal and loss control processes.
- Management of the Asset procurement process.
- Management of asset reporting.
- Effective Human Resources Management.
- Support to Supervisor and Management.
