Requirements
- Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management/ Human Resource Development/ Management of Training/Public Administration as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the environment of which three (3) years must be at Assistant Director / Junior Management level and valid driver’s license (with exception of person with disability).
- Core and Process Competencies: Sound and in-depth knowledge of relevant prescripts, application of the legislative framework governing the public service e.g., Cabinet EXCO`s Decision: Cabinet Minute No 5.5 April 25,2001, Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Growth and Development Summit Agreement,2003, Human Resource Development Strategy,2001, Human Resource Development Strategy for the Public Service,2002-2006, National Skills Development Strategy for NSDS 20012005, National Skills Development Strategy for NSDS 2006-2010, Public Service Act,103 of 1994, Public Service Regulations,2001, Skills Development Act, No 97 of 1998, Skills Development Levies Act, No 9 of 1999, The South African Qualification Act,58 of 1995, Toolkit for Recruitment and Selection, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
