Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Labour Law.
- Experience: Appropriate experience in PERSAL.
- Appropriate experience in labour relations.
- Inherent requirement of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel within the Garden Route geographical area, Central Karoo and Cape Town.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Computer literacy (MS Office package).
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and in a team with good report writing skills.
Duties
- Facilitate the effective functioning of the IMLC’s and act as secretarial for the IMLC.
- Maintain and report on labour relations statistics.
- Facilitation of training for all staff with regards to labour relations issues.
- Assist with preparation for conciliation and arbitration and represent where required.
- Handle grievances and disciplinary matters.
