Requirements
- A Senior Certificate / National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Level 4.
- Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required: Knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures pertaining to the public sector.
- Knowledge of service delivery programmes.
- Computer Literacy.
- Knowledge of departmental reporting structures.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and processes.
- Knowledge of Delegation of Authority.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and Financial regulations.
- Knowledge of BAS.
- Knowledge of practice notes.
- Knowledge of voucher control procedures.
- Knowledge of general admin procedures.
- Knowledge of Asset Management.
- Knowledge of Losses/ theft procedures.
- Knowledge of HARDCAT system.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data and collect statistics.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
- Basic knowledge of work procedures in terms of the working environment.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Innovation and creativity skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Numeracy skills.
- Literacy skills.
- Planning, organising, and coordinating skills.
- The ideal candidate should have good interpersonal relations, be honest and have integrity, be reliable, open and transparent.
