Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std.
- 7).
- Experience: Appropriate experience in the operating of a high-volume switchboard, a messaging/ paging system and managing an enquiry/ helpdesk.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Willingness to work under pressure, unsupervised and in a team environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, including public holidays, weekends and overtime.
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Duties
- Manage switchboard, email and telephonic enquiries, dispatching calls, taking and delivering messages, making announcements and paging staff over intercom.
- Manage the facility helpdesk.
- Effective telecommunication and support service to the facility.
- Handle all internal and external calls and general

. Handle all telecommunication equipment and related tasks to ensure that all equipment is in working order, report all faults timeously to line manager. Maintain and update internal directory. Keep records of all official and private calls and print and distribute monthly telephone accounts. Provide clerical and administrative support to colleagues and supervisor.
