Project Manager Job Purpose

As a Project Manager: Rural Development (Social Facilitation), your role will be to:

  • Lead, coordinate, and organize work processes.
  • Implement strategic interventions and initiatives across three sub-programmes.
  • Drive the outcomes and deliverables of the Rural Development Programme as outlined in the department’s annual performance plan.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Educational Qualification:
    A 3-year National Diploma or B-Degree in one of the following fields:
    • Public Administration

    • Social Science
  2. Experience:
    At least 3 years of management-level experience in project planning, management, and coordination.
  3. License:
    A valid Code B (or higher) driving license.

Recommended Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

  • Community or stakeholder liaison within a developmental environment.
  • Leading community development and social cohesion initiatives.
