    An intriguing UNISA internship programme has been introduced by the University of South Africa (UNISA) for recent graduates wishing to launch their careers in a variety of subjects. South African citizens without jobs who have earned a UNISA qualification with a NQF level of 6 or higher are the program’s target audience. People without any official work experience in the sector of their application will be able to obtain useful practical experience through this chance.


    Internship Positions Available:

    1. CHS: Art and Music Internship
      • Location: Muckleneuk Campus, Pretoria
      • Minimum Qualification Required: Bachelor of Arts
      • Number of Positions: 4
      • Position Reference: CHS/04/2025
    2. Facilities Management: Maintenance Internship
      • Location: Muckleneuk Campus, Pretoria
      • Minimum Qualification Required: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
      • Number of Positions: 6
      • Position Reference: UEM/06/2025

    Note: Applicants must be UNISA graduates, and the applications must be submitted individually for each position. The deadline for submission is April 11, 2025.

    Application Requirements:

    • CV: A comprehensive curriculum vitae that highlights relevant qualifications and any previous experience.
    • Motivational Letter: A one-page motivational letter explaining why you are a suitable candidate for the internship.
    • Certified Copies: Certified copies of the South African ID, Matric Certificate, Academic Record, and the completed UNISA qualification (not older than six months).
    • Application Portal: Applications must be submitted through the designated online portal, where you will need to indicate the position reference and your UNISA student number. Application Link (Only accessible for UNISA students and graduates)

    Key Competencies:

    UNISA seeks candidates with strong competencies in various areas. These include:

    • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and internet usage.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills, along with good interpersonal relations and telephone etiquette.
    • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment with constant supervision.
    • Attention to Detail: The ability to prioritize tasks, maintain high attention to detail, and go the extra mile.
    • Time Management and Problem Solving: Effective time management skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.
    • Pressure Handling: Ability to perform well under pressure and strict deadlines.
    • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.

    Internship Details:

    • Duration: 12 months
    • Start Date: May 1, 2025
    • Stipend: R120,925.00 per annum
    • Closing Date for Applications: April 11, 2025, by 16:00
    • Relocation Costs: If applicable, relocation costs will be borne by the intern.
    • Background Checks: All successful candidates will undergo background checks.
