    The Office of the Chief Justice has recently announced a variety of new available jobs, offering exciting opportunities for qualified individuals looking to enhance their careers in the judicial system.     New available jobs at the Office of the Chief Justice

    Director of Financial Accounting at the Office of the Chief Justice

    Join the Office of the Chief Justice as the Director of Financial Accounting. This key role in Midrand requires a Bachelor’s in Financial Accounting and experience in GRAP. Manage financial reports, systems, and accounting strategies. Apply by 02 February 2024!”

    • Position: Director: Financial Accounting
    • Ref No: 2024/02/OCJ
    • Location: National Office, Midrand
    • Salary: R1,162,200 – R1,365,411 per annum (Level 13) (all-inclusive package)
    • Closing Date: 02 February 2024

    Requirements:

    • Matric certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, or equivalent at NQF level 7.
    • Post Graduate qualification in Management Accounting (NQF level 8) is an added advantage.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Nyukela Public Service SMS Pre-entry Programme certificate required.
    • 6 years’ experience in financial accounting, with 5 years at a middle management level.
    • Experience in a workplace environment utilizing GRAP.

    Duties:

    • Leading the Directorate: Financial Accounting in designing, implementing, and maintaining strategic and operation plans.
    • Preparing financial statements according to cash and GRAP accounting.
    • Implementing OCJ policies and operational procedures related to Financial Accounting.
    • Managing salary administration functions, internal control systems, and financial management risks.
    • Handling the entire payments and receipts sections and reporting aspects.
    • Supporting the CFO and other Senior Managers in executing their functions.

    Opportunity for a Deputy Director of Organisational Development at the Office of the Chief Justice in Midrand. Ideal candidate should have a diploma/degree in Management Services and experience in Organisational Development. Apply by 02 February 2024 to shape and lead organisational structures and processes!

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience at Assistant Director Level in Organisational Development.

    • Knowledge of the Job Evaluation system, OFA Management services, Organisational Design Principles, and Batho Pele Principles.
    • Skills in problem-solving, project management, and computer literacy.

    • Developing and maintaining effective organisational structures aligned with strategic objectives.
    • Creating Job Profiles and Descriptions according to the Departmental structure.
    • Analyzing and grading jobs using the Public Service Job Evaluation system.
    • Facilitating Change and Diversity Management.
    • Managing the Sub Directorate.
